Journal Article: Utility of Triazole Antifungal Therapeutic Drug Monitoring: Insights from the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists

ID Connect’s clinical consultant Erin McCreary, PharmD, and Matt Davis, PharmD, Director of Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Services, along with their colleagues from the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP), published a landmark peer-reviewed journal article on triazole antifungals, which are commonly used in clinical practice to treat fungal infections. On behalf of SIDP, this insight describes the pharmacokinetic principles and pharmacodynamic targets of commonly used triazole antifungals and provides the rationale for utility of TDM within each agent.
