Infectious Diseases Specialist
Dr. Maura C. Porto received her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at Pennsylvania Hospital, part of University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then completed her infectious disease fellowship at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Following fellowship, she worked as an inpatient infectious disease physician at Cooper University Medical Center in Camden, NJ.
Dr. Porto’s clinical interests include general infectious diseases, medical education, infections in critically ill and immunocompromised hosts. She also has an interest in antimicrobial stewardship and the use of telemedicine to expand access to care.
