Jim Harrigan, M.D.
Infectious Diseases Specialist
Dr. James Harrigan is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He obtained a pharmacy degree from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, and his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University.
He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. During his fellowship he also completed the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Health Informatics Certification (AHIC). His interests include general infectious diseases, antibiotic stewardship, and health informatics.
