Diana Zhong, M.D., MHS
Infectious Diseases Specialist
Dr. Diana Zhong earned her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her internship at Washington University in St. Louis/Barnes-Jewish Hospital, followed by her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington.
After residency, she worked as an academic hospitalist at the University of Washington, where she completed the faculty Teaching Scholars Program focusing on medical education and curriculum development. She subsequently completed her Infectious Diseases fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. As part of her fellowship, she also completed both a Master of Health Sciences (MHS) in Clinical Investigation and the Vaccine Science Certificate Program at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has a research background that includes tumor immunology, the microbiome, and vaccine clinical trials. Dr. Zhong’s current academic interests include public health, vaccinology, and medical education. She enjoys integrating art, creativity, and gamification into her educational work.
