Matthew Davis, PharmD

Matt received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Texas College of Pharmacy and subsequently completed two years of post-graduate training at UC Davis Medical Center specializing in Infectious Diseases.
Following residency, he worked as the antimicrobial stewardship/infectious diseases pharmacy lead for Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. His primary responsibilities included serving as the ID pharmacy consultant for 5 ID consult and transplant ID teams, facilitating AU data tracking and reporting, providing antimicrobial education to various stakeholder groups, and participating in the ASP’s prospective audit and feedback program. He served as the 2020-2022 co-lead and lead of the UC System-Wide ASP/ID Collaborative, which comprises stewardship programs from the 5 academic medical centers in the University of California system. His research interests include innovative practices in stewardship and anything pertaining to antifungal therapeutics. In his spare time, Matt enjoys the outdoors, reading, and meeting new people.
